As part of our mission to expand psychological knowledge, we launched the first book in the Psychologia Series, focusing on Mental Disorders and Abnormal Behaviors. Written in Kurdish, this book provides a comprehensive introduction to mental illnesses, their causes, symptoms, and treatment approaches.
The topics for this book were determined by the Editor-in-Chief, Dyari S. Hama Amin, who then selected suitable experts to write each section. Contributors were given clear instructions on writing style, citation format, and key topics to cover. After submission, the articles underwent review and editing by the Editor-in-Chief, followed by a final language review by a Kurdish author to ensure clarity and accuracy.
With 1,000 copies printed, this book marked a major step toward normalizing discussions on mental health and increasing access to professional psychological knowledge.
