
The Research & Development Unit conducted a data collection initiative, to examine the reading preferences of children under 14. This study aimed to gather insights into children's book choices, parental influence, and buying habits, contributing to a broader research effort on children’s literature.
Data Collection:
· 420 samples as representative data to inform research on children's literature was collected
· Interview with 20 bookstores.
Conclusion and Recommendations
This data collection effort serves as a preliminary survey for an in-depth study on children’s literature. The findings will contribute to developing engaging, relevant, and educational content for young readers, ensuring that books align with both children’s interests and parental guidance.
