The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) are the guardian of the sect and the protector of the dominance of Shiite rule in Iraq. The Shiite sect forms the majority within the PMF, constituting 85% of it, such as; Hezbollah-Iraq, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Kataib Hezbollah and etc. The position of these sectarian forces is not limited to the security and military levels, but extends to the main joints of government in Iraq, especially political and financial ones, with control over many economic joints such as: approval of the establishment of companies and contracts to provide food and construction materials to government institutions.
