Project Idea:
By examining the social, economic and educational situation and widespread social media users in the Kurdistan region and Iraq, it can be seen that social problems resulting from the use of social networks are constantly increasing, and most cases are summarized in (misuse of social media networks, inappropriate treatment, violation of personal freedoms, threat and extortion, intimidation, etc.) As KARA Organization, we felt that human resources and expertise should be used in order to reduce risks and to familiarize girls and women with how to use social media sites properly and ways to prevent their risks.
To that end, after consulting with experts in this area, we have found it necessary to implement an awareness-raising project in different regions through a series of seminars for two years.
