Child, Environment, and Art

Project Idea:

One of the main problems of the 21st century is that humanity is suffering from climate change, environmental pollution, and global warming. According to the United Nations and the latest environmental statistics, this problem is increasing day by day. In the Kurdistan region and Iraq, primary school students do not have enough information on environmental awareness and how to protect their environment from global warming. Additionally, media channels do not adequately enhance public awareness of these problems. For this reason, (KARA Organization for Awareness and Development), in collaboration with the Sulaymaniyah Public Library, aims to reduce risks in this field and build a conscious generation capable of spreading environmental awareness through artwork.

After consulting with experts in the fields of environment and education, we believe there is a real need to implement an awareness and educational project for children so that they can become environmentalists in the future.
